Latin Jazz Grammy nominee José Negroni launches the Cacao Musica - “Cosecha 2008” summer concert series. The Miami-based native of Puerto Rico performs selections from the recent release, Father & Son. As the album title implies, Negroni's Trio is a family affair with José on piano and his son Nomar on drums. Though Latin-based, the group tends to go in a more straightforward jazz direction. The band will be accompanied by special guests Ed Calle on saxophone and Marco Panascia on bass
